Friends of Sia’h Shalom funds raised will enable Sia’h Shalom to:
• Meet the demand for new groups by increasing the number of groups launched each year: from 28 this year to 56 next year to 84 in three years.
• Further fund our contribution to the President’s Visitors’ Center Initiative, making the President’s residence a place for convening dialogue encounters of all kinds and reaching new untapped populations.
• Expand the Haredi-Israeli Initiative engaging the ultra-Orthodox in a conversation about peace, civil responsibility and more. Sia’h Shalom may be among the first peace organizations to engage—with trust and respect—the growing, powerful Haredi community.
• Enable Sia’h Shalom to convene encounter groups in North America to address the fractures in the North American Jewish community.

During the past 13 years, Sia’h Shalom has been planting and cultivating so many seeds of hope. Now, the demand for Sia’h Shalom is expanding. From all around the country and in every sector of Israeli society, leaders and prominent organizations are asking Sia’h Shalom to facilitate groups, train their own facilitators and open doors of trusted Israeli officials.
In addition, existing Sia’h Shalom supporters are renewing and expanding their support for our work. This new injection of funds and resources will be game changers, enabling Sia’h Shalom to develop new programs that reach more deeply into the most insular sectors of Israeli and Palestinian societies. At the same time, we are focusing on expanding our base of support. We are excited and grateful that in just a few short months, we have raised more than $75,000 and have begun new and exciting relationships with dozens of potential donors.
