Friends of Sia’h Shalom Goals:
Raise $300,000 a year for 3 years
3-Year Goal: $1,000,000
- Enable Sia’h Shalom to create 28 new groups each year; over three years, cumulatively: 28 to 56 to 84 new groups
- Advance/launch the Visitors’ Center at Beit HaNassi Initiative
- Advance/launch the Haredi-Israeli Initiative
High-Level (Core) Group Facilitators
We are now in a position to expand the reach of our work and plan to launch more than 50 new groups during the next two years. These groups will enable Israelis from different factions to speak to and learn from one another, in order to address the wrenching polarities within Israeli society and to begin a process of dialogue, healing and collaboration. Exponential growth will begin with training multiple facilitators.
Anticipated Cost High-Level Israeli Group Facilitator Training: $20,500/year
President of Israel, Visitors’ Center—Israel in Dialogue
Sia’h Shalom is working with President Herzog’s office to help implement his strategy for healing the acute identity divisions in Israeli society. Each year, approximately 13,000 visitors to the President’s residence tour the grounds, see the beautiful artwork and learn about the President’s role in Israel’s democracy. We have begun developing a dramatic new program that will expand the scale and scope of this visit, turning it into a transformative experience of national healing. Participants will begin preparing for the visit a month before. Their time in the President’s residence will be the powerful culmination of that preparation. As this strategy evolves, teams who can carry out this work will need to be trained.

Haredi-Israeli Initiative
Bridging the divide between haredim (ultra-Orthodox) and the larger Israeli society is an absolutely critical need and goal. However, the objective cannot be achieved by asking haredim to renounce their identities. Rather, Sia’h Shalom will facilitate the process that enables haredi leaders to define what it means to be both haredi and Israeli. How can haredim take responsibility for the economic, political, social and spiritual needs of the Jewish State? Sia’h Shalom’s rich network of partners inside the haredi leadership will be instrumental to moving this initiative forward.
